The £10 Ten Pound banknote is of the current series in issue and shows the cypher HM70 and a serial number between 1 and 2000. The Bank of England have issued this special cypher in honour of this very special occasion. HM70 will not be produced for general circulation and therefore these are the only notes to have this cypher. 

The new crown of 1996 celebrates Her Majesty The Queen's Seventieth Birthday and is struck in Sterling (.925) Silver to Proof Quality.
