The £10 note is of the current series in issue and shows the cypher HM50 and a serial number between 1 and 1500. The Bank of England have issued this special cypher in honour of this very special occasion. HM50 will not be produced for general circulation and therefore these are the only notes to have this cypher. 

The new crown of 1997 celebrates the Golden Wedding Anniversary of the Queen and Prince Philip and is struck in Sterling Silver to Proof Quality.
