Zaire is now renamed Congo Democratic Republic.Zaire is in fact a Portuguese corruption of another African word, Nzere ("river"); by Nzadi o Nzere, ("the river that swallows all the other rivers") being another name of the Congo river.

Zambia -
A landlocked country in Southern Africa. The latest series of notes from Zambia are particularly attractive & colourful, featuring an African Fish Eagle on the face and various animals on the reverse of the notes.
